Welcome to Twin Ponds Farm, where we specialize in equine rehabilitation, fitness, and wellness. Founded by Dr. Ashley Taylor, a dedicated veterinary professional with a passion for equine health and performance, our facility offers hospital-quality care in a serene home stable environment. With a background in sports medicine and a commitment to excellence, Dr. Taylor brings a wealth of expertise to every aspect of our operation.

Supported by a team of seasoned professionals including Emma Ford, Sara Stone, Natalie Garcia, and Isabel Holden, we provide comprehensive rehabilitation programs tailored to meet the unique needs of each horse. We are also happy to follow the recommendations from our referring veterinarians.  From state-of-the-art equipment such as cold saltwater treadmills and regenerative laser therapy to personalized care from our experienced staff, we are dedicated to optimizing your horse's recovery and fitness.

 

Conveniently located in Cochranville, PA, our facility boasts 19 stalls spread over two barns, along with a variety of turnouts and state-of-the-art amenities. Dr. Ashley Taylor
 

Dr. Taylor grew up in Topsfield, MA where she was an active member in the horse community through competing in eventing and involvement in the United States Pony Club. She attended the University of Findlay where she obtained a Bachelors of Science degree followed by Michigan State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine where she earned her DVM degree in 2012. Upon graduation from Michigan State University Dr. Taylor completed a 1-year rotating internship position at New England Equine Medical and Surgical Center. During this internship she gained comprehensive training in various aspects of medicine, surgery, and further developed her training in sports medicine. Following her internship Dr. Taylor practiced in New England before relocating to Pennsylvania in 2015 to work as a veterinarian at Sports Medicine Associates of Chester County, which she purchased with business partner Taryn Gassert in 2023. 
 

Through Dr. Taylor’s career she has had the opportunity to work on top level athletes managing their soundness for competition, and diagnosing and rehabilitating a variety of injuries. Dr. Taylor and her husband purchased Twin Ponds Farm in 2019 with a vision of transforming the farm into a top class facility to provide care and expertise to rehabilitate horses and provide resources for their owners. 
 

Dr. Taylor is an avid competitor in the sport of Eventing. When she is not practicing or working at the farm you can often find her at the horse shows on the east coast working and competing.

Emma Ford

Farm Manager

​

Emma Ford originated from North Devon England and was brought up in the hunt field with her dad as Master of the Foxhounds. Emma was raised surrounded by horses. She grew up in the Pony Club system, receiving her “B” designation and culminating with jumping at the Horse of the Year Show in 1991. After completing her Bachelor of Science at the University of Wales she moved to the United States to follow her passion with horses. After managing Adrienne Iorio’s advanced event horses for seven years in Boston Massachusetts, she moved on to manage Phillip Dutton’s barn in West Grove Pennsylvania.

 

She has groomed at almost every 5 star event in the world, and has been a member of the U.S. Eventing Team at multiple Olympic, World, and Pan American Games. She and Cat Hill run World Class Grooming, LLC., a clinic and training program for all horse people and co-authored a book by the same name which was the best-selling equestrian title of 2015. Their 2nd book World Class Braiding, was published in 2018 and in 2021 A Kids Guide to Grooming and Horsemanship hit the shelves. All published by Trafalgar Square books. Emma has been with Twin Ponds Farm since its inception in 2019 and is an integral part of the operation and management of the farm, it’s staff, and most importantly care of the horses at our farm.

Sara Stone

Rehabilitation / Fitness coordinator

Sara got the horse bug at an early age and grew up riding and competing at the low levels of eventing. She attended The University of Findlay and graduated with a Bachelors of Science. Upon graduating, Sara was accepted into the Kentucky Equine Management Internship gaining extensive knowledge of the thoroughbred industry. Since completing the internship,

 

Sara has continued to work with horses including various positions on large scale thoroughbred breeding operations, veterinary technician roles including at Sports Medicine Associates of Chester County and most recently, managing a thoroughbred rehabilitation farm in Kentucky. Sara joins us at Twin Ponds Farm as our Rehabilitation and Fitness coordinator. She is currently working on getting certified in Equine Rehabilaition. When not at work, Sara will most often been found adventuring with her two canine companions, Kolbi and Norman.

Natalie Garcia

Assistant Farm Manager

Natalie grew up in Rochester, Minnesota, where she pestered her non horse parents for years to be able to tide. She took lessons and worked at a stable all through high school. After high school, Natalie attended Colorado State University, where she majored in Equine Science and completed an internship at KESMARC Florida. Natalie then was a working student for a dressage/eventing training, working her way up to farm manager and assistant trainer. She moved to Pennsylvania in 2020 to continue her eventing goals, and worked at New Bolton Center for several years becoming a member of the Twin Ponds Farm team.

Isabel Holden

Overflow Farm Manager

Originally from Minnesota, Isabel started taking riding lessons at the age of nine. She rode as many horses as she was allowed, and overtime, started traveling with friends to places like North Carolina, and Florida, anytime there was a break from school. Her sexier to be around horses at all times resulted in working for, and ultimately managing Olympic level Eventing barns. When her personal horses demanded some downtime, Isabel transitioned from grooming/competing to showing an interest in the veterinary field. She’s been working with us at Twin Ponds Farm since 2021.
