Grain:
If horse needs to be on special grain or owner wants to keep horse on their current grain we bill our cost of the grain to purchase. This grain will only be fed to your horse and any left over grain will be sent home with the horse at the end of their stay. We feed Nutrena products and we can help with a nutrition plan or find an equivalent to your horses feed that will match what they are currently eating if desired.
Farrier:
Cost of farrier plus $20 for handling and management of horse during farrier appointment.

Medication administration is included in day rate no matter the time or frequency of medication. The medications must be provided and if additional medications need to be purchased the owner will be billed through New Bolton Center or Sports Medicine Associates depending on where medications are purchased.
Bandage material:
Disposable bandage material must be provided or purchased. If additional materials are purchased they will be billed through New Bolton Center or Sports Medicine Associates depending on where purchased. Bandage changes are included in the day rate. Standard reusable stable bandages are supplied at no additional charge.
Veterinary care other than daily management provided by Dr. Taylor: Daily monitoring, care, and rechecks by Dr. Taylor are included in the day rate. Any emergency requiring medical attention will be billed by the New Bolton Center field service or Sports Medicine Associates depending on who renders the care. Any additional imaging needed for rechecks including radiographs and ultrasound will also be billed through these practices.
